Barb's Old Fashioned Sour Cream Drops*

Mix thoroughly:

1/2 cup Crisco (1-1/2)
1-1/2 cups sugar (4-1/2)
2 eggs (6)

Stir in:

1 cup thick sour cream (3)
1 teaspoon vanilla (3)

Sift & stir in:

2-3/4 cups flour (8-1/4)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (1-1/2)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder (1-1/2)
1/2 teaspoon salt (1-1/2)

Chill one hour. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until almost no imprint remains when lightly touched with finger. Shake cookies in powdered sugar.

Note: Quantities in (parenthesis) represents a triple batch
